Lorax is known as a female from the Marine Education and Research Society Humpback Whale Catalog. She is the 2014 calf of Ripple (British Columbia) and the mother of Wiggins. Reported with calf on Feb 5th, 2026 by James Begeman. Seen with calf on Mar 3rd, 2026 by Meredith Lins and Mar 10th, 2026 by Krystal Grinde. Also sighted as MERS-BCNF2017#1.
