"Swift" has been nicknamed from the marking on the left fluke which resembles a long-tailed bird such as a swift :). Formerly known as Gypsy, this whale is known as CS139 in the Clayoquot Sound Humpback Whale Catalog. This whale is known from research conducted by ECOBAC from the photo-identification catalog of humpback whale of Banderas Bay, Mexico (FIBB catalog). Also known as BCG0515
