Known as a female from sighting as a mother traveling with calf CRC-17754 December/January 2017. This is an unusual whale for having apparently relocated from the western Gulf of Alaska to the California coast. Grandmother of 2021-2022 calf of CRC-17754. Also sighted as GWAK-NGOS-CM-20120624-003.
