Fluke of Petroglyph (Alaska) Confirmed in the catalog

Petroglyph (Alaska) @28804

"Petroglyph" was named by Hamish Laird inspired by the petroglyphs at Cape Alitak at the south end of Kodiak Island, as some of the marks on this whale are reminiscent of the eyes and labret markings on the rocks. The petroglyphs there were almost certainly chipped out by humpback whale hunters. Check out the Cape Alitak petroglyphs.
