CRC-12573 was likely born in 2007, judging by the milky fluke in the first known record, photographed by a Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary naturalist in June of 2008. March 2019 she was determined to be a female, seen with a young calf by naturalist captain Ryan Lawler. Mother of 2018-2019 calf, 2021-2022 calf and 2024-2025 calf.
