CRC-12064 was also previously known as CRC-12221. Originally ID'd likely as a yearling (thus probably born 2003-2004 season), note the very significant change in pigmentation between the 2005 encounter of CRC-12064 and later encounters. This whale is known from research conducted by Cascadia Research Collective and collaborators. Known as female from a biopsy sample collected by PRIMMA 11/27/2023 and analyzed at Dr. Omar Chassin’s lab (UMSNH).
